BC Medical premiums grievance – June 2011

Since our Lockout in June 2011, Canada Post had unilaterally stopped acknowledging our expired Collective Agreement and with it, our medical benefits. When most of us had been forced back to work , most of us had recieved a copy of a BC Medical invoice asking us to pay the BC Revenue Agency for amounts owing.

As a result, alot of  our members had no choice but to pay this bill up front.

Therefore, our Local has created a grievance form specifically on this matter. We will be seeking reimbursement costs for every member who has had to pay their BC Medical premiums for June 2011
