About Us

We are the Canadian Union of Postal Workers. We represent approximately 600 members in both our Urban, Rural Mail Carriers and Contracted Urban Services. Our area within our Royal City Local covers Depot delivery centers in New Westminster, Port Moody, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Maple Ridge, Mission and Abbotsford. We are comprised of 5 elected Officers beginning with the President, Vice-President, Grievance Officer, Secretary Treasurer and an Execsteward. As well we have chosen elected Shop Stewards within each depot to help represent our members.

We deal with many issues regarding our working conditions within our Collective Agreements and the Letter Carrier Route Measurement System. Please review your C.A.’s and should you have an enquiry, please contact us by phone or email.

We also hold and conduct Monthly General Meetings to discuss new and old business  issues of our Local. It is important to have your opinions be heard at these forums and be recorded  into our Minutes.
