We continue to meet regularly with Canada Post to resolve more issues pertaining to the 2011 Lockout.

CPC will issue another payment on October 2, 2019, Pay Period 20, to those affected members who have not been paid for their entitlement under Article 21 (special leaves) of the collective agreement.  CPC will not be sending out a letter of notification with an explanation for these payments.

CPC will also be paying members, according to Arbitrator Bergeron’s Decision, that if you returned to work on your scheduled time off (annual leave, pre-retirement, etc.) that you would be entitled to $50.00 for each day that you should have been on leave.

If you believe that you have not been paid or improperly paid, please call access HR at 1-877-807-9090 or by email at accesshr@canadapost.ca.  We ask that you record who you spoke to and the response you received. You can also contact Joanne Gomercich or Sylvain Sicotte at CUPW National office by calling 1-613-236-7238.

Please review your pay stub which should include the National Policy Grievance (NPG) number

N00-10-00001 and the code for the leave that is being paid out. If you believe you have not been paid properly, we will require all the pertinent documents (leave forms, certificates etc.), if these documents were not originally included in an individual or group grievance, in order to ensure the correct payments are made.

We want to ensure that all members who are entitled to payments receive them.  We want to thank you for your patience as this is a long and detailed process.

The struggle continues!

In solidarity,

Joanne Gomercich
