Congratulations to our newly elected Local Executive members as of last Thursday June 25 General Meeting. The following will represent our members for this next term,
- President – Brooke Mousseau (elected)
- (Acting) Vice President – Crystal Smith
- Grievance Officer – Kelly Westhaver (incumbent)
- Secretary Treasurer – Carla Smith Hamilton (incumbent)
- Exec. Chief Shop Steward – Matt Wood (incumbent)
We extend our thanks who ran for these positions and we wish our newly appointed members much success in their roles.

As you are aware, CUPW takes our health and safety very seriously for our front line workers. Measures are being taken to request for the necessary protections and consultations are being conducted with our Employer to provide the latest updates to our members.
To the right of our CUPW Royal City website, we have posted the National CUPW Covid 19 email and latest bulletin links for you. When it involves matters regarding making STDP , Workman’s Compensation and other benefits, hopefully you will find the necessary information to your enquiry.

Your Health and Safety will always remain a top priority as we/together navigate thru this pandemic. Above is a 2 page document that will be used to monitor and report the ongoing Covid -19 related issues on our workfloors. Our LJOSH and Shop Stewards will be submitting these reports to our Local Executive, so that we can inform our Regional and National officers on the progress with our employer.
