December 1, 2020

This Sunday December 6, 2020  marks the 31st anniversary of the tragedy on the 14 women whose innocent lives where taken from us at the École Polytechnique in Montreal. It is our commitment every year on this day to not only pay our respects to these women but our constant call to action to eradicate all forms of violence. Be it in our homes and workplaces, lend your voice to our MP’s and in our communities for programs to descalate behaviors that have such negative adverse affect in our societies everywhere.

Our Sisters and Brothers stand in solidarity with our allies in Canada/world that we will continue to pursue on this very important platform.

This year, the awful pandemic has been very hard on all of us. There will be virtual memorials to mark this day. Once we know such links, we will post them here.

There is also the https://www.whiteribbon.ca campaign that also focuses on raising further bring awareness to this acute issue.

Take a moment this Sunday and let’s remember not just for these 14 women but all women everywhere. Thank you.
