The issue of point allotment for new and replacement uniforms, as provided for under article 34 of the urban collective agreement, was on the agenda of the last meeting of the National Joint Uniform Committee (NJUC), on September 22.
RSMCs became eligible to the uniform program on October 1, 2019. Existing eligible employees received 479 points on the first year and every year thereafter. Other employees receive 1,359 points in their first year, 16 points in their second year, and 479 points every year thereafter, as per Appendix “P” in the RSMC collective agreement.
At the September 22nd meeting, Canada Post confirmed that the allotment of points and the reset of garment quantities would take place on Monday, October 4, 2021.
