The Federal Government has announced that as of Monday, June 20, 2022, the vaccination requirement for federal public service workers will be suspended.
CUPW members that were placed on leave without pay because of CPC’s vaccination practice will receive a robocall in the coming days from the following number: 1-833-505-2661
Members will be advised that CPC intends to bring people back to work in the next few weeks. At this time, CUPW does not have confirmation of the exact date. Our position is that members should be allowed to return to work as soon as possible.
Team Leaders are expected to contact the affected employees before their return to work to assess their detailed situations. The Union expects to be in a position to give you more specific information over the course of next week.
